SUNFLOWER MONTESSORI CRECHE AND THE COMMUNE OF CONTERN ANNOUNCE NEW PURPOSE-BUILT CRECHE IN MOUTFORT, LUXEMBOURG

Sunflower Montessori Crèche SARL and the commune of Contern are pleased to announce that Sunflower shall build a purpose-built 100-place crèche in the village of Moutfort. The building shall be completed and ready to receive its first children in FEBRUARY 2008.

The new building shall provide 8 classrooms for children from 0 to 4 years and Foyer de jour for children up to 8 years. The building was designed with extensive assistance from the Ministry of the Family and Integration and meets and exceeds all relevant regulations. The 38 are site has been secured by long-term lease from the commune of Contern.

The building shall be situated on Route de Remich in the heart of the village of Moutfort. Just minutes from Luxembourg Ville, Kirchberg , Findel and the Contern business park, the new crèche shall be convenient for working parents wanting a green village setting for their children..

In addition to the classrooms the building shall contain a large multi-purpose area for indoor play activities including arts, crafts, music and movement. The children will perform two musicals a year. The total floor area shall be approximately 1,000 m2 with an enormous garden of about 2,000 m2.

Sunflower and the Commune of Contern have signed an agreement for priority reservation of 25 places for the commune at the new crèche.
